Cubic Light from DillyFrame Games is a neon minimalist puzzle game in which you must color and place blocks to light each level. It offers 75 levels that you must complete in four different colors, with a challenge to beat every 5 levels. You’ll grab a block, define its color if necessary, and put it in the right spot. Once you’ve activated all cells, you’ll get to beat the level. Simple, right?

Cubic Light Review - 1

The controls for this arcade-style game are easy to pick up since you’ll use the left analog stick or the D-Pad to select a cube with the X button. Once you find the right spot to place a cube, you can do so by dropping it with the X button. In case a cube’s color needs to be changed, you can do this with the L1 and R1 buttons. Do pay attention to the arrows for each cube that you use since this will dictate in which direction the cube’s light will shine. If you think you’ve made too many mistakes, you can reset a level by pressing the Triangle button.

As for the trophies, this one has a very long trophy list with 70 Bronze trophies, which means that you can work on adding a new Platinum trophy to your collection! You’ll get the trophies for beating the first ten levels in the game. As for the rest of the miscellaneous trophies, they will pop for using each cube type and color many times, which you can do by playing the levels, or by farming them out by repeating an action over and over on the stages where you have access to cubes with one, two, three, and four arrows.

Cubic Light Review - 3

Cubic Light is a minimalist puzzle game in which you’ll have to drag around a bunch of blocks as you have them light up the figure on the screen with the right colors. Each block will have some arrows to consider since that’s the direction in which they’ll emit their light. With 75 levels to offer, as well as a Platinum trophy, this is a puzzle game that you can enjoy on Sony’s console. Cubic Light is out on PlayStation 4 with a budget price of only $2.99.
