EA shutting servers for Xbox 360 title Syndicate in June
EA has announced that servers for Xbox 360 first-person shooter Syndicate will close later this year, discontinuing 12 achievements in the process.
Servers for Syndicate will close on June 15th, EA has confirmed, which means you have around three months to unlock the 12 online Syndicate achievements in the game before they’re discontinued.
Syndicate servers to close in June
Syndicate, which is a backwards compatible Xbox 360 title, has already been delisted from the Xbox store, so if you do want to complete this one, you’ll need to pick up a physical copy. Some of the 12 online achievements that are set to be discontinued, on paper, look like they could put up quite a challenge. The High Value Asset achievement asks you to complete all co-op maps on expert difficulty, whereas The Professional achievement looks like it requires a lot of grinding as it requires you to kill 50 enemies with all weapons in the game. The CEO achievement is also another tough one that asks you to complete everything in the game, including loads of demanding in-game challenges.
To make some of these achievements a little easier, it will probably be worth setting up or joining a Syndicate Gaming Session to work through the online achievements with other TA users.
In other server closure news, EA also announced it was delisting and shutting down three Battlefield titles later this year.
Will you be returning to Syndicate for the completion? Let us know!
Thanks to everyone who sent this in as a news tip!
