Crash Team Rumble beta open to Xbox Insiders this weekend
Xbox Insiders will be able to check out upcoming multiplayer action game Crash Team Rumble this weekend, with the doors thrown open for Insiders of all tiers to join the closed beta via the programme.

Crash Team Rumble is a new 4v4 multiplayer spin-off from the iconic Crash Bandicoot series, pitting teams against one another to see who can bank the most Wumpa Fruit in the allotted time. Each character has their own stats and role — Scorers are better at carrying and banking fruit, Blockers are built to defend your bank while running interference with the other team, and Boosters can buff their team’s scoring potential and abilities — so you’ll need to work with your buddies to make sure you’ve got a good mix of the three.
Xbox Insiders can play the Crash Team Rumble closed beta this weekend
To participate in the Crash Team Rumble closed beta — which is otherwise only available to preorder customers — as an Xbox Insider, all you need to do is head over to the Previews section of the Insider Hub where you should find it alongside all the other available previews for your tier. In the Xbox Wire post announcing this new treat for Insiders, it does note that spaces may be limited and offered on a first-come first-served basis, so if you fancy getting involved this weekend, better start that download sooner rather than later! Insider access to the beta will run from today, April 21st, to April 24th.
“When building the game, we wanted to first make sure it is approachable, so any player can jump in,” explains Toys For Bob’s Lou Studdert. “We are acting as a welcoming point to players new to the franchise. And for Crash fans, we add additional layers to the game that feature deeper strategy for them to enjoy.”
