Alien Dawn survives PC early access, arrives on Xbox in April

Stranded: Alien Dawn, the survival simulator that tasks you with determining the fate of a small group of survivors, will be leaving early access on PC in April and launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Created by Surviving Mars developer Haemimont Games, Stranded: Alien Dawn takes us to an alien planet to help a small group of people survive the harsh environment they’re stranded in. The game has been in Steam Early Access since October 2022 and holds a ‘Very Positive’ rating, but it’ll be launching in full on April 25th and simultaneously arrive on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Stranded: Alien Dawn follows a group of survivors whose ship has crash landed on a beautiful alien planet. We’ll need to make every decision for them and help them turn their crash site into a safe haven they can flourish in while exploring numerous biomes. “From the vibrant mountain region of Sobrius to the harsh sands of Desertum, survivors must fend off alien wildlife attacks, acquire knowledge of strange new plants, and research new technologies to ensure they can truly thrive,” the game’s description says. “From a simple shelter to a high-tech fortress, survivors must salvage, hunt, farm, and craft their way to establishing a prosperous base to reach their ultimate end goal.”

Each survivor will have unique traits, skills, and backstory, and with the ever-present danger looming over the group, we’ll need to make sure they can always work together as a team if they’re going to survive. From extreme weather to devastating illnesses, the survivors will always be confronted with complications, so ensuring they have opportunities for relaxing, entertainment, and relationship-building is important to their wellbeing.

Surviving Mars was previously available alongside some of the best games on Game Pass, so you might already be familiar with Haemimont Games’ style.
